Actually planned for March 15th 2020, the concert was one of the first to be cancelled due to the pandemic-related ban on events – now it will be made up for as part of a livestream concert.
Originally compiled for a session opener, this exclusive version of the Nils Tegen Quintet will once again come together for a concert to play the band leader’s compositions. These are largely in the area of song form, but are not too nailed down. Nils Tegen has been composing for over thirty years now and has compiled a wealth of material from which a small cross-section can be heard at this concert. The musicians themselves make a wide variety of music and have known each other for a long time from various bands; however, this constellation is new....
