As a duo, Schmid and Duppler explore the sound of their distant homeland based on traditional songs. These form the starting point for composition and arrangement as well as improvisation and interaction determined by the moment. With saxophone & piano, a subtle and at the same time gripping music is created, the emotional depth and imagery of which give the listener a glimpse of the Icelandic home of the protagonists.
