NOW MY LIFE IS SWEET LIKE CINNAMON is the brainchild of experimental musicians Moritz Wesp and Eric Haupt.
The aim of the ensemble is to create original, programmatic works that take an unorthodox approach to composition and improvisation. The conceptual centerpiece is the innovative instrumentation, consisting of various self-built synthesizers such as the virtual trombone, a converted computer keyboard or a drastically modified Otamatone.

Over the past five years, the ensemble has created a wide variety of programs, ranging from a pop music show with an iconic front figure, to a questionable piece of musical theater, to a musical homage to the fictional Japanese vocaloid pop star Hatsune Miku.

While these shows may seem quite odd at times from the outside, there is always an iron grip of self-referential logic that holds all the loose pieces together, or at least that’s what the band believes.
