STAX (Schtaks) is the quartet around drummer and composer Max Stadtfeld. He has been living in Leipzig since 2013. First as a student and since a few years as a freelance musician. In 2019, the debut album of STAX was released on ACT Music. Also in 2019 Max Stadtfeld had the opportunity to open the Bauhaus Festival in Berlin in Michael Wollny’s „Bau.Haus.Klang“. 2022 will see the release of STAX Suboptimal’s second album on the Cologne-based label KLAENG.
