For some time now, Swiss pianist Chris Wiesendanger and Cologne drummer Fabian Arends have been in regular contact and met many times in Switzerland. On this evening, they will have their first opportunity to meet on stage at Cologne’s LOFT.
Wiesendanger has made a name for himself through various collaborations with musicians such as Ben Street, Jeff Ballard, Christian Weber and Gerry Hemingway or through his Acoustic Piano Solo Works. At the Zurich jazz club Bazillus he played with musicians like Eddie Harris, Ray Anderson, Lester Bowie, Michael Brecker or Carmen McRae....
