JazzMain, Scotland's most enduring 'same personnel' quartet has been around for 15 years, but continually breaks new ground in challenging new frontiers of straight-ahead, melodic, effusive and hard-driving jazz which has its origins in the 1950s and 60s Blue Note catalogue. Think Hank Mobley, Dexter, Cannonball...then add in George Coleman, Wayne Shorter, Michael and Randy Brecker... you'll soon catch that JazzMain 'vibe'.
