Inverness-based, ex-Edinburgh trombone ace Brian Keddie, and drummer Bill Kyle successfully developed this band in the late 70s/early 80s, and clocked up many successful gigs, BBC Radio broadcasts and tours throughout the UK. Key to the band’s attraction is the succinct arranging skill of Brian Keddie, who can make the 3-horn front line and 3 rhythm sound like a ‘little big band’. The line up is Brian Keddie (trombone), Stewart Forbes (original sax player), Colin Steele (trumpet), Robert Pettigrew (piano), Kenny Ellis (bass) and Bill Kyle (drums)
