Miles Davis and Gil Evans gifted Porgy and Bess and Sketches of Spain to jazz as vibrant, sultry and enormously satisfying pieces of modern music including such tracks as 'Summertime' and It Ain't Necessarily So'.
The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra is delighted to pay homage to these legendary musicians and with guest trumpet soloists Tom MacNiven and Laura Jurd will explore these majestic musical narratives that are compelling masterpieces of orchestral jazz.
