The quartet has been part of the Edinburgh jazz scene since the early 1980s, formed with the express purpose of playing Classic Jazz. Their inspiration is the classic jazz orchestras of the 1920s and 1930s, such as Clarence Williams, McKinney’s Cotton Pickers and, of course, Louis Armstrong.
