The highly respected Finnish jazz drummer and composer Jukkis Uotila will bring an international quintet to Finland in April 2026.
Now 65, Jukkis has enjoyed a long career performing with American bands as well. He has assembled a group of younger virtuosos, including the already well-known saxophonist Seamus Blake and trumpeter Gerard Presencer, alongside pianist Holger Marjamaa and bassist Alexander Claffy—young masters who have risen to the international musical elite at rocket speed.

Pitkän uran yhdysvaltalaisissa yhtyeissäkin tehnyt 65-vuotias Jukkis on kasannut yhteen ryhmän nuorempia virtuooseja, joista saksofonisti Seamus Blake ja trumpetisti Gerard Presencer ovat jo tunnettuja tekijöitä, ja pianisti Holger Marjamaa ja Alexander Claffy raketin lailla kansainväliseen muusikkoeliittiin nousseita nuoria mestareita.
