Flame Jazz Records is a Turku record company founded in spring 2019. Its mission is to diversify the offering of jazz music and ensure that great music and listeners find each other.Kadi Vija Key Project is an exceptional, emotional and chamber music-like band born around the Finnish-Estonian phenomenal jazz singer Kadi Vija. The ensemble's original instrumentation creates a soft but attention-grabbing, quiet but captivating sound that will stick in the listener's mind but leave them hungry. The band's leader and composer Kadi Vija is known for his memorable improvisation skills and his ability to use his voice instrumentally. The quartet consists of Finland's top jazz musicians: the bass clarinet is played by e.g. Max Zenger, known from the band Maxxxtet and UMO, Tuomo Dahlblom, who is involved in many guitars, and the versatile Tuomo Dahlblom on drums, among others. Tuomas Timonen, who plays in Yona's band.The band has released two albums under Flame Jazz Records: Roaming In The Contemporary Society To Make Peace With It (2020) and Extended Powerspots (2022). In addition to Finland's biggest jazz festivals, the group has also performed in the Nordic countries as part of the Nordic Jazz Comets tour.Josu Mämmi is a sound designer, composer, producer, musician and DJ from Helsinki. In his solo live performances, he combines electronic, jazz and neo-classical music as well as live visuals. The program includes songs published and unreleased in the last five years, including works from the Mirari record (Flame Jazz Records) and various contemporary dance works. In his DJ sets, he varies between techno, experimental electronic music and jazz, always adapting to the mood of the occasion.The event has no age limit...
