Towards the end of the 90's Ackamoor released two albums titled Portrait and Centurian. 2010 was a remarkable year for jazz. The Pyramids reunited under Idris Ackamoor’s lead went on tour and most significantly, after more than 35 years, we were able to get our hands on previously recorded yet unpublished The Pyramids tracks with the release of the 2012 album, Otherworldly. The same year Ackamoor was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Gilles Peterson at the Worldwide Awards Show in London. The album Otherworldly released in 2012 was followed by We Be All Africans in 2016, and An Angel Fell in 2018.
