Binker Golding & Sarah Tandy at Hull Jazz Festival at Hull Truck Theatre

MOBO Award winning saxophonist, composer and conductor Binker Golding joins forces with pianist Sarah Tandy, premiering a new set of original material.

One half of the duo Binker & Moses, Golding's also known for being the saxophonist in Zara McFarlane's band as well as fronting his own quartet. The recipient of a MOBO Award, two Jazz FM Awards and a Parliamentary Jazz Award, other projects include a new blues and country-inspired album with his quartet and a new suite of classical chamber pieces.

Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Sarah Tandy's worked with many prominent UK jazz acts including Jazz Jamaica, Gilad Atzmon, Nubya Garcia and Camille George. Currently a member of the house band for the popular Thursday night funk sessions at Ronnie Scotts, in 2015 she was invited to support Robert Glasper at the iconic London venue's International Piano Trio festival....
