Daniel John Martin is one of the most talented and sought after violinists of his generation. With his singing, and his swinging violin he has joined such global Gypsy guitar greats as Boulou Ferre, Angelo DeBarre, Noe Reinhardt, former Miles Davis guitarist Robben Ford. as well as many others. Born in the UK, spending his childhood in Africa, Daniel then studied violin at Paris conservatoire and is now host & mainstay of the famous Parisian jazz club ‘Aux Petits Joueurs’. He recently released his latest album ‘Parisian Impromtu’ with gypsy guitar virtuoso Mayo Hubert to much acclaim. As well as his virtuosic prowess on his instrument, Daniel has a charm and charisma in his audience interactions that make all of his performances even more memorable. He has recently performed at: Pizza express, Soho, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Gypsy Jazz Festival of London (Crazy Coqs, Soho), Jazz sur Siene (France), Django in June (U.S.A).
