Exploring afresh the freewheeling, wonderfully melodic interpretations of material recorded by Gerry Mulligan and Paul Desmond, this band evokes the spirit of these classic recordings while giving free rein to the personalities of the musicians. Arrangements drawn from the original Mulligan/Desmond records are featured as well as their arrangements of other standards and new standards-based compositions by Chris Biscoe.
