Born and bred in Bolton, LCoM staff member Jamil says ‘I’m proud to have been invited to compose the suite in tribute to Bill Naughton’s work as a writer of stories, novels, plays and filmscripts inspired by his life in Bolton.’ Jazz UK add ‘Sheriff shows himself to be a constantly inventive arranger. Just when you think you’ve heard it all, he’ll come up with something fresh.’
