Wild Flower Sextet is an all-star band led by saxophonist Matt Anderson playing original music inspired by the sound and approach of jazz legend Wayne Shorter.
Mark Chandler is one of the top trumpet players in the UK, working internationally and making a living until recently as a session player in London. He started studying with Henry Lowther at the age of thirteen, turning professional at sixteen and working with the likes of Humphrey Lyttelton and Nancy Wilson. Among many others, in the jazz world he also worked in the Johnny Dankworth Big Band, played a tour with George Russell’s Living Time Orchestra, and played with jazz legend Elvin Jones at the Soho Jazz Festival. Mark is now concentrating on jazz tuition working as senior lecturer at Leeds College of Music and devoting his time to playing jazz....
