Nerija at Hull Jazz Festival at Hull Truck Theatre

With influences from jazz, hip-hop, Afrobeat and South African Township, all-female septet Nerija are blazing a trail for women in jazz.

Nominated for Jazz FM Breakthrough Act of the Year 2016, their unusual line-up of four horns and guitar gives them a distinctive, fresh and current sound. Festival appearances so far include A Love Supreme, Latitude, Jazz Re:Fest and a sell-out headline show at EFG London Jazz Festival. Their debut EP was released in 2016 to critical acclaim.
