On the first Thursday of each month (in conjunction with "Hillcrest Shop 'n' Sip"), Café Bossa Nova (a family-owned, family-friendly Brazilian restaurant with full bar) presents free, live jazz (6-8 pm, approximately) by vocalist Ryk St. Vincent and pianist Chris Parker. (Occasionally other jazz artists sit/stand in.)
