With a career spanning four decades, New York born Ali Ryerson is consistently ranked among the top jazz flutists in the Downbeat Jazz Poll. Growing up in a musical family, her father, Art Ryson, was a renowned jazz guitarist with the famous Paul Whiteman Orchestra who later recorded with everyone from Louis Armstrong to Charlie Parker and Elvis Presley.
