Bob Dorough is a bona fide jazz legend. His songs have been recorded by Jamie Cullum, Miles Davis, Diana Krall ('Devil May Care'), Mel Torme ('Comin Home Baby'), De La Soul ('3 is the Magic Number'!), and countless others. As musical director of the US TV series 'Schoolhouse Rock', he entertained and instructed millions of unsuspecting children throughout the 1970s and 80s. For this special show Bob - now in his 91st year - is joined by good friends Geoff Gascoyne on bass, Sebastiaan De Krom on drums, and singers Trudy Kerr and Sarah Moule.

Bob was born in Arkansas and 'raised' in Texas, immediately fell in love with music upon joining the Plainview Texas High School Band. He served three years in a Special Services Army Band Unit, gaining much professional experience as arranger, clarinetist, saxophonist, pianist, and entertainer (1943-45)....
