Bret is an expressive and exciting saxophonist and composer, who, while tipping his hat to the masters of the past, continually forges forward to create his own new contemporary sound in both jazz and contemporary chamber music.  

Bret is currently performing with his exciting new jazz chamber trio project Fragments & Gateways. The trio, which features Bret - soprano and tenor saxophones, clarinet, John Horler-piano, Alec Dankworth-bass, fuses chamber music and jazz composition and beautiful arrangements of classic standards.
