About
An artist of international standing, Caroline Loftus was featured on a number of tracks for the 2009 BBC “Children in Need” album as well as several of her own records including the 2006 release, “Urban Lullabies”. Her CV includes work at prestigious venues around the world, including the Sydney Opera House, Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Nederland Dance Theatre. She currently performs with several groups, including FRED, an homage to “1950’s Havana & the swinging sounds of Hollywood” and has been busy writing music for American TV via her project “Riveraire”. Tonight Caroline will be bringing her "swing" show to the Club, featuring music from the 20's and 30's, which she describes as "fun music and effortless swing from a great band", that stellar band including the wonderful Laurence Corns-guitar, Mike Piggott-violin and Rod Youngs-drums...
