“…..Deborah Carew possesses a voice that makes me want to hear the standards anew! Her deep, sweet tones ring true, somewhere between Cassandra Wilson and Ella – precision pitch, the timing of a master drummer and superb mutual respect on stage with her outstanding trio! Her pursuit of Jazz demonstrates intelligence and deep love of the form – no Jack of all Trades is Deborah! Dont miss!”
Rachel Bennett, Raie (Vocal teacher, Diploma tutor at WAC, Vocal Lecturer at Goldsmiths College)
