Simon Roth brings together a group of critically acclaimed musicians to play classics made famous by the likes of John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins and Lee Konitz.

Playing alongside jazz drummer Simon, we have George Crowley on saxophone, Johnny Mansfield on vibraphone and Huw Williams on double bass.

Simon hails from a musical family and is known mostly as a drummer and composer. He grew up immersed in Big Band Jazz, Free Improv and 1960s Pop. Simon can be found working within the Contemporary, Jazz and World music scenes and has performed across the UK, Europe, North and South America and Asia. Simon has been involved in several interdisciplinary projects and also set up and ran the cross-arts platform Pop-Up Circus, staging exhibitions and live events throughout London. Performance highlights include supporting Robert Glasper Trio at Ronnie Scott’s International Piano Trio Festival, Jools Holland at Greenwich Music Time and headlining Kings Place Festival. Simon’s music has been performed at the BBC Proms and broadcast widely on national radio.
