Swedish by birth, since 2004 Cecilia has been working in Sweden, New York and her adopted city, London as a singer, composer, arranger, recording artist, teacher and vocal coach. Blessed with a wonderful, pure tone and great time Cecilia has built an impressive reputation amongst many of the most influential musicians on the UK jazz scene. For this 606 gig she’ll be bringing a truly talented band of musicians to work alongside her, including Alex Bennett on piano and Juian Crampton on bass. The evening's music will comprise some traditional jazz standards, some of Cecilia’s own adaptations of Swedish songs for a Jazz ensemble and also what she describes as a "fun Groove set". A versatile and adaptable singer this eclectic set promises to be a great way to see in (and celebrate) the last Saturday before Xmas.
