Clark Tracey has worn many musical hats over his 35 year career. One of the UK’s finest straight-ahead jazz drummers, Clark is also a composer, arranger, educator and talent-spotter par excellence – skills that come together in another of his passions: band leading. Clark’s been fronting his own units since the early 1980s, in effect operating a finishing school for three generations of British jazz talent. His latest quintet has been receiving incredible live reviews all over the country since the release of their debut CD ‘Meantime’ in May 2014.
