Dom Pipkin is one of Europe’s finest exponents of New Orleans Rhythm and Blues. No stranger to George IV, for this special show Pipkin is joined by Ikos bass player Nick Pini, (Laura Marling, Tom Jones) and drummer Jimmy Norden, (Annie Lennox, Alice Russell) playing a highly infectious blend of jazz, blues, gospel and New Orleans street funk. Paul Jones of BBC Radio 2’s Blues Show describes them as “Lighting up the British blues and R&B scene. Very, very, good indeed!”.
