This magical musical 6-piece was born out of the magnificent “Swinging At The Cotton Club” show that has successfully toured theatre and festival venues both here in the UK and abroad. With an exciting mixture of swing jazz and blues with a touch of soul the ‘Hot 5’ are guaranteed to give you a great toe-tapping evening of musical delights.

New York born vocalist Marlene Hill grew up surrounded by the sounds of Gospel, Soul, R&B and Jazz, before becoming one of Mayfield Records leading recording artists and touring worldwide. Her influences include Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Big Mama Thornton, Laverne Baker and Ella Fitzgerald and for this special show Marlene will be performing a marvellous mix of jazz, blues and soul whilst touching on some standards from the Great American Songbook.
