An accomplished guitarist and composer Jakub Klimiuk brings his quintet to the club for a special night featuring one of the UKโs finest modern jazz saxophonists, Mark Lockheart. Presenting music from their critically acclaimed album '(un)balanced', as well as completely new material, the band will be exploring Jakubโs original compositions influenced by contemporary New York jazz and the Scandinavian improvised music scene. You can expect music full of melodic themes and experimental sonic escapades, described by UK Jazz News as "contemporary but accessible" and "music which could engage and transcend genre boundaries."
