Manchester-born drummer and composer Miles Pillinger intertwines the raw improvised energy of jazz with the rich, uplifting rhythms and melodies of Brazil.

Miles will be showcasing his original compositions alongside paying homage to his favourite composers Hermeto Pascoal, Chick Corea and Thelonious Monk.

Since Graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2023, Miles has established himself as a drummer throughout the UK, showcasing his energetic, sensitive and adaptive playing with groups such as the Olivia Cuttill Quintet, Mangorata, Tara Lily and NYJO.
