Late Night Jazz celebrates the freshest sounds on the London jazz scene in the intimacy of the Elgar Room.
Alina Hip Harp is the new formation by internationally renowned harpist Alina Bzhezhinska.
Known for her ability to innovate, Alina’s latest project pays homage to some of jazz, funk and hip-hop’s greatest innovators, drawing from a variety of influences including Dorothy Ashby’s ‘Afro-harping’ and Alice Coltrane, 90’s Triphop and Kuti-esque Afrobeat rhythms.
Alina creates a unique live experience on the harp with electronics and loop pedals, supported by Mikele Montolli on bass, drummer Adam Teixeira Joel Prime on percussion.
