Passionate Italian saxophonist Renato D’Aiello is one of the strongest and most beautiful saxophone sounds around. He will make his Elgar Room debut with the Renato D’Aiello Sextet in a late night show celebrating the music of soul-jazz pioneer Horace Silver.
The band - Renato D’Aiello (saxophone), Deelee Dube (vocal), Chris Dean (trombone), Sean Hargreaves (piano), Nicola Muresu (bass), Emiliano Caroselli (drums) – are praised for their vibrant take on hard bop and straight-ahead acoustic jazz.
