Lunchtime Special: 606 Gospel Featuring Da Paul at 606 Club

Established soul and "groove" artist DaPaul is a welcome addition to our Sunday afternoon Gospel brunches here at the Club. DaPaul is a singer, songwriter and musician with a passion for performing. His roots hail back to a Caribbean church in London where he found and nurtured his love for the piano and singing, performing choral hymns and Caribbean folk spirituals. He began singing professionally in the mid 90’s and has over the years performed with the likes Alexander O'Neal, Jhelisa Anderson, Rhonda Thomas, Des'ree, and Gabrielle. He has also appeared on numerous live events and TV shows including Jools Holland, GMTV, National Lottery Live, TOTP, Montreaux Jazz Festival and The World Music Awards. In 2009 he released his debut solo album ‘Soulful Spirit’ which received considerable acclaim, climbing to no.3 in the UK Soul Charts. More recently, in 2015 his song "London Town" won the Akademia Award for best song of 2015. Today DaPaul will be going back to his Gospel roots, performing with a full band and backing choir which should make this a brilliant afternoon from one of the UK's most experienced Soul/Groove/Gospel singers. And don’t forget this is our family day, so children are more than welcome....
