Lunchtime Special: Josephine Arthur at 606 Club

Josephine Arthur studied musical theatre at Arts Ed but, having been enchanted by the songs of the Great American Songbook, she soon began a real love for Jazz that has led her to performances at the likes of Ronnie Scott's, the Pheasantry, the Royal Albert Hall and the National Theatre. She draws on classic influences such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan and her programme is a unique take on jazz standards and modern classics as well as a smattering of original songs from her debut album “Break Free”.
