Marky Dawson’s influences were varied as he grew up listening to the likes of Ray Charles, Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel, Queen and Elton John to name but a few. Dawson has guested with such musical luminaries as Ben Waters, John 0’Leary, Alan Glen as well as supporting Ben Montague and Never The Bride whose lead singer Nikki Lambourn, (vo-cal coach to the likes Beverley Knight and Newton Faulkner) is now also Marky’s vocal coach. A showman and performer as well as a great songwriter, Marky Dawson will be showcasing his highly original bluesy pop-rock songs supported by his fantastic band, The German Coastguard, Thorsten Praest, guitar, Goran Vujic, bass, and Ulf Stricker, drums
