Marlene Hill's Jazz & Blues Machine at Bulls Head Jazz Club

Pennsylvania born Marlene Hill’s first introduction to music began when singing in the local gospel choir and those early gospel influences can still be heard in her jazz and blues drenched vocals. She is equally at home covering the beautiful ballads of Billie Holiday and the elegant phrasing of Ella Fitzgerald as she is singing the lively Soul and Disco of Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston. Recent performances have included top venues both in the UK and abroad where she was part of the highly popular Swinging At The Cotton Club” show which delighted audiences throughout Scandinavia.
