NES can’t be tied down to a specific location. Three superb musicians who originally met in Valencia, Spain, their music is between traditional Arabic and world music, jazz and pop. Tonight they perform songs from their acclaimed ACT release Ahlam (which means ‘dream’ in Arabic), recently selected by The Sunday Times as one of the 100 best albums of the year. It expresses a personal dream of love fulfilled and of the desire for peace in the world, with music full of grace and emotion, born and nurtured by the sun in the cultural melting pot of Valencia.
