6-4-2 - sextet-quartet-duo : presents selected quartets and a duos who then combine make a new sextet. Kay Grant (voice) and Marcio Mattos (cello) make up the duo, and the quartet features the Sicilian born pianist Tommaso Vespo alongside Taylor on clarinet, Sutherland on flute and Viltard on bass.
Vespo brings a delicate technique which shelters a solid jazz piano grounding into a fusion with some of London's most illustrious free improvisers, all in a carefully blended mix of instruments and performers.
