Pablo Held Trio at Echo Rising Stars at Milton Court Concert Hall

Hailed as one of the ‘most exciting young groups of German jazz’, the Pablo Held Trio performs in the intimate surroundings of brand new Milton Court Concert Hall on 20 November. All music is written by the trio’s leader, ‘German piano wonder’ Pablo Held whose dialogue with bassist Robert Landfermann and drummer Jonas Burgwinkel (two young musicians of stature in their own right) is intense and dynamic, displaying crisp synchronized movements. This concert also forms part of an exciting new addition to the Barbican’s music season: The European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) Rising Stars series, which started in 1995 with the aim of bringing exceptional young artists to new international audiences. The series is part of the Barbican and Guildhall School’s joint commitment to the development of young and emerging artists.
