Internationally acclaimed tap dancer Petra Haller takes the stage at Piano Smithfield, Barbican, joined by three of London’s standout young jazz musicians: Sacha Harlan on drums, Tom O’Brien on piano, and Ed Le Feuvre on bass. Known for her inventive use of tap as a rhythmic layer, Haller’s footwork seamlessly integrates into the ensemble, adding depth and texture to their sound. The group will delve into works by jazz icons like John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk, merging jazz traditions with vibrant, modern improvisation.
