ROY FORBES is a Jazz/Soul Singer based in the West Midlands region of the United Kingdom. For many years he was the singer with the famous Jamaican saxophonist Andy Hamilton and his band the Blue Notes. Roy sang on their album entitled "Jamaica By Night". KARL CHARITY winner of the Angela Carrington London jazz singing competition and trumpeter with the Horse Band for the last two years and with whom I will be singing a couple of duets. Karl's voice has been described as charismatic.His mixture of trumpet, fluegel-horn and vocals may suggest Chet Baker. his voice has also been described as a voice with a "velvet fog", reminiscent of Mel Torme, with warm smooth yet textured baritone tones.
