Soul.blues With Special Guest Venezuelan Percussion Legend Wilmer Silfontes at Bulls Head Jazz Club

For this special one-off show the band join forces with Venezuelan percussion legend Wilmer Silfontes to perform an original blend of soulful blues with a distinctly Latin flavour. Originally from Caracas, Silfontes is one of London’s most accomplished and prolific percussionists having played at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Womad, the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Beijing International Festival among others. Together with Blues Bentley, London’s very own celebrated bluesman from Fiji on powerful guitar and soulful vocals, the groove playing of bassist Richard Sadler (Tom Jones, Paul Weller) and the Japanese Blues harp genius Aki Iwai fresh from his acclaimed tour of the USA this promises to be a great way to celebrate Soul Blues in truly international style...
