Sunday Lunchtime Special - Lee Gibson Presents A Vocal Workshop Concert at 606 Club

A wonderful straight-ahead singer who is vastly experienced and highly regarded by her peers both as a performer and educator, Lee Gibson’s credits vary from big band work with the BBC Radio Orchestra and the WDR Orchestra in Cologne, to small group work in Germany, Holland, France and Australia. Her extensive radio credits include over a thousand solo broadcasts for the BBC. Lee will be holding vocal workshops here at the Club for 2 days prior to this gig, and this lunchtime she will be presenting a series of performances featuring singers from those workshops. All the singers will be accompanied by the terrific Geoff Castle Trio and the whole thing promises to be both musical and great fun. And don’t forget this is a family gig so children are more than welcome. Oh, and given the nature of the afternoon it will also be Free Entry! Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon....
