Tonight, drummer Gaz Hughes and his quintet will honour the music of one of the true jazz drumming greats . The art of 'Jazz Messenger' Art Blakey (1919-1990) - described by fellow drummer Max Roach as "Thunder" - is captured superbly by Hughes.
