The Isobel Pearce Quartet "old Devil Moon" at The Boston Room, George IV

Enchanted from a young age by the musicals of Irving Berlin and George Gershwin, Isobel Pearce is a rising star on the London Jazz scene. Her effortless vocals are full of emotion and seem to come directly from the heart. Influenced by the iconic voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday, she breathes new life into the songs of The Great American songbook in a truly captivating way leading to frequent performances in some of London’s top jazz venues, including The Pheasantry - Pizza Express in Chelsea.

This special evening is to celebrate the release of Isobel’s debut E.P. 'Old Devil Moon' which showcases her mix of beautifully delivered jazz standards, the Latin jazz of Antonio Carlos Jobim and funky arrangements of songs by the likes of Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell and Dusty Springfield among others.
