Sunday Lunchtime Swing Sessions (2.30pm) with The Pronto Quintet: Pronto put a contemporary twist on their 50’s & 60’s swing repertoire together with just a hint of Italiana. Singer Airlie Scott combines her love of The American songbook with a healthy dose of theatricality and fun, bringing a toe-tapping, swinging jazz vocalization to many of the numbers whilst also covering soulful ballads and relaxed Latin standards. The talented line-up is further enhanced by jazz musicians from both the UK and Italy with band members Roger Lewin on piano, Katy Jungmann, tenor & soprano saxes, Terry Davies, double bass & Francesco Corallini on drums.
