Theo Jackson Band at 606 Club

This very special evening is the showcase for the projects Theo will be working on in 2013.

The opening set features Theo on piano accompanied by his regular rhythm section and award-winning saxophonist Nathaniel Facey. He'll also be stepping away from where you'd most expect to find him - at the piano - to concentrate on vocals accompanied by the hugely energetic 19 year old pianist Reuben James on piano.

The second set will open with his duo collaboration with alto saxophonist Nathaniel Facey from the MOBO award-winning band Empirical. An acoustic project, Theo and Nathaniel will present their own original compositions together with their unique interpretations of jazz standards...

Very much improvised, the skeleton structure of the songs can move and occasionally disappears.
