Liverpudlian Tommy Blaize is a fantastic, charismatic singer/keyboardist who is widely admired and respected throughout the music business. Although for many years an unseen figure behind the scenes, his voice is familiar to millions from work with the likes of Tina Turner, Craig David, Gary Barlow and Lulu and from TV ads such as Coca Cola, Levis, and British Airways. Considered one of the most in-demand session singers on the scene, he has been featured on numerous film and TV soundtracks and has been heard here at the Club with Madeline Bell. A great guy and a fantastic performer it is with enormous pleasure that we welcome Tommy to the Club this evening with his own amazing band, featuring fellow “Strictly” band members Dave Arch-piano, Trevor Barry-bass, Andy Caine-guitar/vocals, Paul Dunne-guitar and Ian Thomas-drums playing a selection of classic Groove and R&B standards with the odd jazz tune thrown in.
