Will Michael Jazz Education Awards at Royal Academy Of Music

As part of the National Music Council’s Music Education Awards Scheme, the Academy is proud to host the Will Michael Jazz Education Awards for the third year running, in collaboration with Jazz Services. Tonight, regional winners who are delivering outstanding jazz education to young musicians will collect their awards in the Duke’s Hall. The evening culminates with a set celebrating the iconic South African musician Dudu Pukwana, including new arrangements of tunes by Pukwana and other Blue Note members by Stuart Hall, who will direct the band along with Head of Jazz, Nick Smart.
